« If time is lost, it is the time during which we are at the mercy of others. » Boris Vian
As he puts it: “All these artists have their own style which is something I've been struggling with as I don't like limiting myself to one style, there's all types of music I like and I want to make. I really don't know what will the next track I put out will sound like. I like surprising myself just as much as my listeners, so that when they click play on a track I release they won't know what to expect but will still be excited.”
For those of you who have been following us for a while now, you know this is the sort of mentality that we appreciate in artists at Moose Records.
We are proud to officially welcome Auram to the Moose Family. Auram is the new kid on the block. Born in Mexico City he was in Vancouver, Canada, for the last 3 years and recently came back to his roots.
He’s only been producing music for the last year or so but he’s schooled himself learning from the best: The xx, Washed out, Daughter, Drake, Shlohmo, Flume, Clams Casino.
These names resonate as points of reference - having their very own developed and perfected styles - and one of the reason why we see so much potential in Auram is because, not only is he very talented, but the quality of his work for someone who claims he has not found out his own style is astounding.
